Recently one of my trailer drop down windows has been very hard closing. Upon further inspection, there is a gap between the window edge and the trailer. So the latch doesnt close properly. What would be the best way to try and close the gap ? Rubber mallet? I am afraid one of these days, the hinge is going to give up the ghost and pop out or something not good. Can this be a home fix, or should the window have professional help?
