Has anyone does this before? I expect I would require a detailed & Pricey insurance policy but anyone know about the expenses or what I could charge? Thanks!

I personally would NEVER do it. People will not treat your trailer like you treat it, and I have never heard of a situation like this working out!

OMG, this took a second reading. You are exposing yourself to some serious liability. If they get in a wreck guess whose name is on the trailer title and will be named in the lawsuit? They could tear all your tanks off the underside or flood your LQ if they don't know what they are doing. Call your insurance agent and be honest with them. You may find that if you rent the trailer out it is not covered under your insurance policy as it's now been used not as a personal RV but for profit. There are a few places that do this, Google LQ trailers for rent. Then forward the info to the prospective renters.

This is a joke...RIGHT? You would need $1,000,000 commercial liability insurance at a minimum...then if you haven't paid off your trailer yet...you'd need to do that immediately, because your current loan paperwork is probably NOT set up for commercial activity...then you'd need to get trailer replacement insurance in case the renters wrecked it...then you better have a good attorney on retainer, becasue the renter who wrecked it will probably try and sue you for renting substandard equipment...

The other issue would be how do you determine if their tow vehicle was fully qualified to haul your trailer...

Also, if they are strangers...you'd need to do some background checking to make sure they are there to STEAL your trailer...rental stuff goes missing very year to frauds...:(

OMG!!! Are You SERIOUS???? If you are not using it yourself, or cannot afford to own it, sell it. The risk you would be exposed to are really scary. Good Luck to you in any case.

Sounds like its never been done before. But there is a considerable amount of info regarding RV rent-out. Maybe that's your starting point. Good luck any way you go. https://www.google.com/#q=renting+out+private+rvs
