My refrigerator in my horse trailer has all but stop working. The freezer gets a little cold and the refrigerator part stays warm. My propane and electrical mode are both working fine. I talked with a service tech at a RV place and he said I have blockage and to hit it with a rubber mallet. I spoke with the service department at a horse trailer dealer and he said the same thing. He said a replacement frig is $2100 installed. Cooling units are $450 and then installation cost. Does anyone have any ideas? I did bang on it the coils and it didn't do any good. I've watched the youtube videos and the Amish sell cooling units for about $450. Must be somewhat common. Any thoughts, advice? Ice chest is looking pretty good about now.

Look oncline for Colaw RV for replacement unit or new fridge. They are as reasonable as you can find.

If you can see any yellow powder anywhere, the unit is toast. Fairly easy to change the cooling parts...
