I am looking for trailer insurance and got a reasonable quote from the horse trailer insurance link on this website, which is Creelman Insurance and they call their horse trailer insurance TrailerPac?
Does anyone use them and has anyone had to file a claim with them? Reccomendations?
I got a quote from another company which was double that of Creelmans' and my State Farm (home and truck) insurance was just a hair higher than Creelman's, but I'm trying to save money after spending more than I ever imagined on the horse trailer!

I have a policy with Creelman and almost got to use it...lost my Honda EU3000 generator out of the back of my trailer (make sure you put the pins in the latches that close your rear doors) - and by the time I could turn around to get it, someone snatched it!
Creelman reps were very helpful and almost sent me a check to replace the generator, until they realized I didn't have "contents" coverage. Oh well...

"My vehicle insurance covers anything I tow. Not sure why you got separate insurance. "
That's for liability. For physical damage you need a separate policy.
Geico covers all my vehicles including my trailer. I did make a claim and was amazed how quick and easy they settled. In fact they totaled the trailer because they didn't want the liability of fixing it.

Unless it was a lot cheaper I would stay with the people that had the Ins. on my truck. Chances are that if you need it for your trailer then your truck is messed up also makes it easier all under the same deal. Oh yea the person that lost the generator , turn it in under your Homeowners. I used to be a Ins. agent.

Make sure you have a "trailer" policy. My agent told me that I had coverage when towing. Only after a crash did I find out that my coverage covered everyone but me. The standard insurance coverage you get by having something hooked to your truck is liability and collision on other's vehicles.
Also, as everyone who has an opinion on steel trailers will tell you. A steel trailer can be pristine in 5 years or a rust bucket. If you have a perfect 5 year old steel trailer you may want your agent to document the condition because the company will want to pay on the depreciated "book" value if you total the trailer. Just like cars/trucks where the "totaled" value may be less that what you owe or what you could actually replace your "mint" vehicle for.
