I visited the horn link in TX you supplied, and found most of the products were applicable for trains and cruise ships. The compressors look like what I use on my nail guns. You said you had one on your pickup; which model? How large a compressor does it require? Do you need a stand alone electrical power source?

Thanks     Gard

I bought one of the kits...If you have a special situation, give Jason a call at 1-866-887-1312 and he will be glad to step you through an installation or recommend just how you can achieve your desired results.

Here is the basic wiring diagram... http://www.airhornsoftexas.com/PDF/STANDARD_WIRING_DIAGRAM.pdf

The only stopping problems I have had with either truck (aside from going through the mtns with the 1/2 ton) was while I was moving from S. Tx to NM. I was driving through San Antonio some idiot decided to pull over in front of me and almost stopped when he got to his exit to get off of I10.  Fortunately when I laid on the horn he decided it would be better to go over the curb than to have me run him over.  There was no way I could stop 13,000lbs in 30 feet.

I drove thru San Antonio once and swore I would NEVER do that again. I needed a good stiff drink after that.
