I bought two tubes of Equimax wormer.  Lot 110216 Exp 9-2012  When I took the top off the first one about a 1/2 of Teaspoon of paste fell out, didn't think much - squirted the tube in first horses mouth and it felt like nothing was in there - Looked at the horse and you know how they slober it around - well he only had like a little white spot that I could see in his mouth.  Before I wormed the other horse I checked the tube and sure enough there was barely 100 lbs worth of wormer in the whole thing. (Equimax goes up to 1320 lbs.)  I called the Manufacture and the Store where I got it the store manager checked some on the shelf and said there were some in there that were not full also.  Just wondering if any of yous guys have expierenced this?

I've never had that problem.  Hope you get your money back.

Whoa, interesting. Never had that happen either. I seldom use the entire amount for my little Arabs and always have some left in the plunger. But thanks for the "heads up". My last rotation was Equimax Gold.

Never had it happen but its something that should be fixed by the company. I also have arabians and always give them the whole tube. it won't hurt them at all.

All manufacturing has it's hickups...  I know in the past 25 years of using paste wormers a time or two after plunging the plunger - I wondered if there was a full tube, but never checked them before I stuck it in the back of horses mouth.  I called the Manufacture - they gave me the Distributor's phone number, a very nice gal took down the lot number and thanked me for calling.  Also the gal at the store was very happy that I reported it (as I mentioned in my post she found a couple of light ones on the shelf) and said no problem with returning.   There is a growing concern that parisites are becoming immune to wormers and I certainly don't want to "under" worm, this is why I shared my expierence.
