Has anyone ever been to the Midwest Trail Ride near Norman, Indiana (Hoosier National Forest). We have booked a three day weekend over the Memorial Day holiday. Any information about the camping facilities, horse stalls and the trails would be appreciated.

Have ridden Midwest several times and they have nice flat camping spots with limited shade. You can back right up to your stalls. Nice bathrooms and a very clean campground. You do have to purchase a bridle tag to ride off of their property into Hoosier Forest. Really nice big tack shop and it is also nice having food cooked for you. Very easy riding. Enjoy!!!

We have been to Midwest several times also. The camp sites are flat although there are a few that get standing water when it rains. The stalls for the horses are right behind your campsite and there is sawdust for bedding. The riding is right out of the camp and is on well kept trails. There are several to choose from . This is just a nice place to go, clean restrooms/showers , nice tack shop , and good food during organized rides. We have ridden/camped a lot of places and Midwest is one of our favorites.
