Shocked to see this on their home page, anyone know the reason? Due to circumstances beyond our control, High Country Horse Camp VA will be closed for the foreseeable future. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Hate to hear that. We camped there only once but the two men that ran the place were as good as they come. The riding was tough to the top of the mountain but great after that. We have really good memories of the High Country Horse Camp.
