I'm not sure if the brand makes a difference...but my trailer is an '07 SilverLite. One of my feed doors isn't working smoothly, and feels like the hinge is kind of binding up. I've tried WD-40, but the seams on the hinge (it's a piano or continuous hinge) are so tight, as are the ends, that I don't think it's getting into where it needs to go.There's no evidence of bangs / dents / scrapes or anything else that would cause it to not work properly.Any idea how to fix it? The rest of the window is in perfect shape, and seems silly to replace the whole thing...Thanks!

Brake fluid mixed 50%-50% with Kroil Oil will penetrate most rusted areas and free the hinge pins. Afterward lubricate the areas with synthetic ATF. A small syringe is the best applicator. Mask off any painted areas that may be contacted by the various oils.

Hi...thanks for your suggestions.....Any idea how I can get the actual lubricant to the areas that are binding up? It seems that the "seams" are so tight, that I can't get anything in the way of a lubricant, to the source of the problem.....

You can go to your pharmacy and ask for an insulin syringe, the best tiny needle you can find for this exact application. Only holds a tiny amount of oil too so it's not wasteful.
