I was looking at e-bay and started wondering what size power converters come on the all ready finished trailers.  Any one know?

I've seen all sizes but most common are probley 45 amps, Depending on the size of trailer and the demands on the DC side you could get by with smaller or could need larger.

I was wanting to get something that can charge my batteries.  I also want to put in a portable A/C, water pump, a couple of lights and maybe a radio/alarm.  I only have a 2 ft short wall in this trailer.

All you would need would be a 45 amp power converter w/a battery charger. I can send you one for around $160.00 dallors.

Except for the Air conditioner, everything else you want to run from batteries is do-able.  The Air conditioner will draw a lot of power.  That means a lot of expensive batteries.

What brand?  I may take you up on it after Christmas.

If we stay in S.Tx I'll have to get a generator, but if we can manage a permant transfer to NM I won't need it.
