hello to all, I need a little help. which should i buy a sundowner 777 side ramp (combo steel rame and aluminum skin) the elite side ramp is all aluminum both are from a dealer new-- any commets would help if any body own one please let me know how it was thank you loveduffy

I am assuming that Money is not an issue in the decision(both trailers are comparable in price?), then the Elite trailer is the best deal. Elite's trailer is by far a better trailer, no comparison in the two.

Which trailer is easier for you to use? At the end of a long day the last thing you'll want to do is wrestle with a huge hard to lift ramp. (I have ramps on my trailers, so it's a must that the ramps be easy to operate.)

Gee-its hard for any of us to make this call for you. What I'd want in a trailer is probably very differnet than yours. Since you are the one paying for it and using it, then you should be able to figure this one out better than anyone else. What are you planning to do? Long hauls, short? over nights or for the day? One, two, three horses? Showing or camping? Can you keep the sundowner undercover to prevent rust or not? How much can you afford? It really doesn't matter what we think- when it comes down to it, your the one that has to make the choice...

Elite!!! There IS a difference, some of which you can see. Elite does not use plastic components for saddle racks, bridle hooks, and brush trays. The windows and latches are far better. Elite has all aluminum construction. Elites are built like tanks!!

Both are nice trailers, Look at warranties and who has a service center closest to you. I do know that what steel that is in the Sundowner is Powder-Coated, it wont rust. Get the one that your happiest with, like everyone else said, its your money
