My '02 Silver Star has the BIG windows in the gooseneck section, and I understand these make LQ a little difficult to add.

I don't understand how that would be... ???  I *would* like to have small cabinets above the windows, but I don't see how the larger windows in this area, slightly larger than the factory LQ trailer windows, perhaps, would be a problem.

Just looking for folks' thoughts.  I can't justify the expense of trading this trailer and buying an LQ trailer from the factory.  I *can* justify spending the money on upgrading this one where needed before adding LQ.

I prefer the bigger windows for safety's sake.  I don't see why adding small "pocket" cabinets for knick knacs above them would be a problem.

Planning on having Sierra do the work for me.

Thanks for any thoughts... or photos of your non-factory LQ trailer with similar windows in the front section.

Mike

I have a Silver Star and added an LQ.
We debated on adding some 'galley rail' shelves above the windows, but the storage was too minimal to justify doing so.
There's pics of the LQ in the link below to see what space is left after walls, insulation and curtains.

Like Dawna said, it's more about cost. Generally the amount of storage in little cabinets isn't worth the cost. But only you can decide what is best for you and your situation.

Your LQ company can help you weigh the costs/benefits.
