Are there any good "spring rides" coming up? In the midwest? Indiana, Kentucky, Illiniose, Tennessee?

Midwest Trail Ride has one planned in April I believe.  http://www.midwesttrailride.com/mtri/index.htm  Tha Mane Trail has one planned in May.  http://www.themanetrails.com/scheduled_rides/index.htm  The Mane Trail is fairly new but very nice campground.  The owners are great.  A  few of us went last spring for our Women's Ride.  It rained the whole time but they opened the indoor arena for us to play around in.  Campground well set up and have stalls for the horses.  Rides into Hoosier national Forest.

Birdsong Trail Ride in Camden, Tennessee, is April 9-15. This will be my sixth visit to Birdsong. It's a great way to start off a new year of trail riding, and the food is great. They have a website, BirdsongTrailRide.com.

There is a Poker Ride at Kaintuck Hollow in Newburg, MO on May 6th. It will be a great time and benefits the Longmeadow Rescue Ranch. See the website for details. www.kaintucktrailriders.homestead.com Click on May 6 Poker Ride for all of the details and directions. This will be a great time, guaranteed!!! We will be driving over from Indiana. If you click on the members from out of state, that is my wife and I. We attend as many events as we can there, and we met all of these wonderful people at CCTR in Eminence, MO. Life has not been the same since.

Termite - Most places are open for camping and riding in between scheduled rides. Often less hassled, too.
