Our group has been to South Fork for several years and might want to go to a different place next year in May. We are from Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Kansas, and Mississippi.
Any suggestions? Where to camp would be great too. Our group numbers about 25 horses and need a bath house and electricity and stalls.

Two places our group love to go are MidWest Trailride in Indiana and One Horse Gap in Illinois.
MidWest is a fairly large camp with plenty of sites and large bath houses. The trails are easy. The stalls are right at your campsite.
OHG is a smaller camp in the Shawnee forest. It is family owned and run and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The riding is TERRIFIC!! Lots of beautiful scenery. Drawbacks: They do not have stalls built yet...only 10x10 panel pens, but they are in the shade. And the bath house is small. 2 stalls for women and 2 for men. We went for Mem. wknd. this year and there were probably 30 rigs and we never had to wait for the shower. We loved it and want to go back next year because the riding was so spectacular.

I like one horse gap too, but hayes canyon is also VERY nice! Hayes is 22.00/night with free pens included with your campsite. Trails are nice, somewhat marked and trailheads are right out of camp. Look in Trail rider magazine too, there are many great places listed there.
