Me again. Little girl would like to put in a butt bar. Just looking for a place that has them. I understand how they work, just having a hard time picturing the mounting process. Thanks for looking.

We have ordered stuff from here:

http://www.sundownerparts.com/.sc/ms/cat/Trailer%20Body%20Components--Breast%20%26%20Butt%20Bars

This is from the Sundowner page, but it looks like they supply parts for other kinds, too.

Thank you. I have seen that page... My question on that bar is, I guess you drill a hole at the intersection of the "V" in the white delron part for the pin??? Then how does the loop on the bar attach? With a "S" hook maybe to the C shaped bracket?

You are correct on the Sundowner bar the plastic V is just a guide to help align the spring loaded pin on the bar when positioning the bar across the stall. It's attached with the 4 rivets since it doesn't actually hold anything. The loop on the other end of the bar is mounted directly by the C bracket so there is no slop in the bar across the opening. Just make sure the dimension of the bar is correct for your stall width before ordering.

AHHH ,got it. For some reason I was thinking the whole thing was removable. The "C" thing is stationary. Don't know why I could not see that in my mind.... Thank you.
