A few months ago I posted a question about whether a trailer with 23 degree down axles would be to tall for a horse to get into.

Well I went ahead and ordered the trailer that way. Boy she sits up nice and high. I love it. Pulling into gas stations, etc I have no fear of bottoming out. We do Endurance and we park mostly in hay fields.

On it's maiden voyage it had rained so much that I backed the trailer in until I got stuck and there was still clearance. Several others lost plumbing when they were towed out.

The horses have had no problem getting in as long as you park on flat ground or with the truck a little up hill. It is a step up no ramp. I personally HATE ramps.

A few times we have camped where once I have leveled the trailer it is a bit of a hop for my wife and I to get into the back of the trailer and the top saddle rack is way up there.

Just thought I would relay this to anyone who may be ordering a trailer.

Good news on your trailer. Get a nice sturdy step stool to keep in your rear tack for your wife.
