Does anyone know it you need to use a water pressure reducing regulator when hooking up to water in a campground?

Water pressures at campgrounds and RV parks can greatly vary. A regulator can prevent an over pressure that may damage your LQ's water system. They can be easily attached to the shore inlet water supply, without any changes to your permanent plumbing. Most of the camp grounds we've frequented, have had lower pressures rather than higher.

a regulator cost less than $10 and to me that is a cheap insurance policy when hooking up to any water supply.

Thank you for your responses. This helps no one ever told me I should use a regulator. Luckily I mostly use my water tanks vs city water.

I usually use one but in one campground I didn't hardly have enough pressure to rinse the soap out my hair. I asked a friend camping with me how their water pressure was and they said fine and suggested I take off the regulator. Made a big difference so if you find they have low pressure, I wouldn't use one.
