bought a like new 2006 sport in 2009 that is a 18' stock gooseneck thru a car dealer that go it on trade for 8k. I knew it was lighter built and would need some work to get it to last and work for me.

I replaced the cut and escape door hinges with bolt on as the weld on original ones fell off, bought rubber mats for it, carpeted the nose, welded on window track for plexiglass inserts, replaced the lights (faded real bad), and replaced the China tires. No other problems with it.

Use it 90% of the time for horses on hwy miles. Haul roping steers in it 2-4x a year or so.

I would not expect it to hold up for daily general ranch/farm use.

Looked at selling last year and dealer said worth 8-9k....or 10k on trade in..

Good luck!

Exiss didn't make a sport model livestock trailer. The exiss sport models had lots of issues with drop down windows falling off. Hinges breaking all over. We sold a couple hundred in its day and had lots of issues.

I just sold mine, it was a 2008 Exiss Sport 300.  We bought it new and never had an issue with it.  Hubby finished out the dressing room, had AC with heat strip and small dinette and one small cabinet hung for storage on the slant wall.  Our 2 horses rode quietly in it had enough room as one is 15'3 and the other 16'1.  Just sold to one one of the girls I ride with and moved up to a 2014 Sooner with 11 foot shortwall, would have bought another Exiss just couldnt find one close in the price range of the Sooner.
